Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Coiffe-Connect. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Coiffe-Connect platform, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 18 years of age if you are a salon owner) and agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our platform.

Coiffe-Connect is an online marketplace that connects customers with hair and beauty professionals (salons, barbershops, spas) in East Africa.
We provide tools for appointment booking, staff management, payment processing, and business analytics.
Coiffe-Connect acts as an intermediary platform. We are not a hair or beauty service provider ourselves.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Salon owners must provide accurate information about their business, services, and pricing.
Salon owners are solely responsible for delivering the services they advertise on the platform.
Salon owners must comply with all local laws and regulations applicable to their business.
Salon owners are responsible for managing their staff, appointments, and customer interactions.
Coiffe-Connect is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by salons.

Customers may book appointments through the platform subject to salon availability.
Cancellation policies are set by individual salons. Please review a salon's policy before booking.
No-shows or late cancellations may result in fees as determined by the salon's policy.
Coiffe-Connect is not responsible for losses arising from cancellations or no-shows by either party.

Payment methods include Cash, Mobile Money (MoMo), and Credit/Debit Card.
All prices displayed are in the currency indicated (default: RWF — Rwandan Franc).
Coiffe-Connect may charge a platform service fee on transactions. Any applicable fees will be disclosed before payment.
Refunds are subject to the individual salon's refund policy. Coiffe-Connect is not responsible for salon-level refund decisions.

Salon owners may subscribe to paid plans (Basic, Professional, Enterprise) that unlock additional features.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

Users may submit reviews and ratings for salons and services they have used.
Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and must not contain offensive, defamatory, or misleading content.
We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our content guidelines.
By submitting content to the platform, you grant Coiffe-Connect a non-exclusive licence to display that content.

You may not use the platform to engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activities.
You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform's systems.
You may not harass, threaten, or abuse other users, salon staff, or Coiffe-Connect employees.
You may not post false information, impersonate others, or manipulate reviews.

All content, branding, trademarks, and software on the Coiffe-Connect platform are owned by or licensed to Coiffe-Connect.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Coiffe-Connect provides the platform on an 'as is' basis and makes no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coiffe-Connect shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Rwanda.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kigali, Rwanda, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or an in-app notification.
Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
